Melissa and I took a trip to New World Stages to see RENT on Broadway. Admittedly, I only knew snippets of the show's plot and pieces of songs. Seriously? I am so ridiculous and so upset that I've deprived myself of RENT on Broadway for so long.
I actually fell in love with the mirrors in New World Stages. So much so, Melissa and I had to stop and snap some pics.
And on to the good stuff - my favorite songs of RENT:

you're a new yorker and you didn't know RENT?? OMG! I guess it was even better than discovering all brand new and ish while in the theatre! I saw it when I was in ny in July....It was soooooo GOOOOOOD! Glad you loved it! We popped my friends RENT cherry too while we were there and she adored it!
ReplyDeletebeing born and raised in NY, you never think to do things like go to see Broadway shows. we're so busy living our lives we tend to take our city for granted, unfortunately. i loooooooved RENT though, i'm glad you got to see it when you visited!
