New Decadent Industries site up NOW!

My girl Nikki Buchanan, creator of Decadent Industries (whom I had the pleasure of meeting at an event in Harlem a few months back), has launched her new website for her plus-size friendly line. They offer playful silhouettes and accessories in fun prints that range from sizes 10 -20.

What I love about Decadent Industries is that Nikki is bridging the gap between mainstream and plus-size, which most in the industry don't do - it's usually either or. Says Nikki, "It's not enough that stores create a separate section of uninspiring curvy fashions. Plus sized women want the same fashion choices available to their straight size counterparts". She's very right in that sense, we want the same fashion, just in bigger sizes!

Buchanan debuted her latest collection, "Kingston Avenue", in early April as an homage to her cultural roots and the roots she's laid in Brooklyn. Kingston Avenue features screen-print leggings, crop tops and bandeaus (yes, we can wear them ladies!), high-waisted shorts, and pants. A second, monochromatic collection will be added in the Summer months so keep an eye out.

Two of my favorite looks from Decadent Industries: Lo-Fi Kente Shorts and Zig Zag pants.

Also, did I mention the beautiful Nnenna Bambaataa is a model for Decadent Industries? Yeah. AND every purchase comes with a complimentary Decadent Body Butter (which I have in my possession, and when I tell you this stuff is GOOD...)

Head over to the newly revamped Decadent Industries site right now. Can't make it there? Go on down to EddyandBri, it's available there too!
