OUTFIT: Black & Gold

Saturday was so out of control. I did so much running around that I still haven't recovered from. Nevertheless, I kept it casual this day because there was a hurricane storm, humidity, and all other kinds of incredibly funky inclement weather things happening.

The obsession with collared/sheer shirts continues, this time combining the two and adding a swirl. I really love the versatility of these - they can be dressed up with a skirt like shown, dressed down with denim, glammed up with a saturated lip color and grunged with some leather. 

Loft gifted this necklace at their Fall/Holiday collection preview. It's so delicious it's sickening, but it's not as easy to style. Styling tip: pair opulent pieces with neutrals to maintain a balance. I'm all about balance, ohmmmmm.

Do you see that crazy dark sky behind me? The clouds were rolling in like something out of a movie!
