The photo above is quickly sweeping the web as Nicki Minaj's fans and non-fans alike speculate whether or not this is her real hair. Every story I've seen thus far is begging Minaj to wear her natural hair to red carpet events.
I will not lie - I've been incredibly curious to see what lies beneath her hot hued hair helmets and I'm glad she's giving the people what they want. This is a fun buzz to get the public riled up waiting for her American Idol stint.
My opinion? Let this woman do what she wants.
While I'm certainly not in tune with Nicki's outlandish halloween costumes, I am a wig advocate. Nicki Minaj's locks are most likely this healthy because the wigs have been serving as a protective hairstyle for years.
What say you? Do you care whether or not Nicki Minaj wears her natural hair?
I honestly could care less. I do wonder though if this is really her hair because none of the pictures I have seen circling about show her face.
ReplyDeleteI don't think it matters. Her wigs are part of her "character" so I wouldn't expect that she's going to wear her natural hair out. I know that for me, wearing wigs helped my hair growth tremendously, so it's definitely possible that that's in fact her hair...but really it doesn't matter lol
ReplyDeleteI think that her hair is probably real nice under there...It better be since she has more than enough mula to take care of it. I don't think wigs mess up your hair as long as your natural hair is covered and it is worn correctly, unlike weaves and tracks and stuff like that. RoRos World
