Something is in the air - it may be the weather, but I am always tired. As I always say, my mood is reflected in my wardrobe, so I've been sticking to black. Tineey pulled me out of my cave, so I threw this on to go grab a coffee and head over to a Plus Model Magazine party with her and Kellie.
I'm absolutely smitten with this Too Puzzled Razor Shirt from 17 Sundays. It's just long enough to wear with a short skirt, but can dressed down with a pair of skinnies and knee-high boots. It's great to layer as well. I threw on a motorcycle that I found at a thrift store (that I then Instagrammed because I couldn't believe it was in my possession haha), which played major defense against the little bit of chill that was going down.
Styling Tip: Bodycon skirts are a curvy girl's best friend! They can be paired with any top, literally. For a casual look, throw on an oversized knit sweater and boots. Night on the town? Pair with a flouncy chiffon blouse and heels. Voila, magic.
Pardon the wind in my collar, ha!
I had the pleasure of viewing the 17 Sundays collection during FFFWeek earlier this year and I was so impressed by them. They nail "relaxed, wearable chic" - all my style for this Fall. Because of my current state of tire, I just want to be comfortable and ready-to-wear.
Am I always on the phone? Smh.
After coffee, Tineey and I headed over to Chelsea Manor for the Plus Model Magazine Celebration of their "Love Your Body" issue, which is wildly successful (EIC Madeline Figueroa Jones, cover model Ivory Kalber, and editorial model Laura Johnson will be on Good Morning America today at 8:14 AM!). Speaking of Madeline...
