The black and white trend is after thine own heart, appealing to my minimalist urging. Inkling its way from Fall 2012 to Spring 2013, the black and white trend was prominent in the SS 2013 runway shows of Alice & Olivia, DKNY, Catherine Malandrino, Diesel and Alexander Wang*, to name a few. As always, I have a penchant for translating what I see on the runway into wearable pieces for myself - Monif C, Rue 107, and One One Three had the same idea.
