My name is Kelly Augustine, a 20-something born and raised in NYC, whose purpose in life is to share my interests and experiences, mostly centered around my personal style (consistently focused on thrift coveting), beauty and cosmetics (usually on a budget), natural hair, and foodie fun.

I graduated with a degree in Advertising and Public Relations, so media is richly ingrained in me and will forever linger until I leave this earth.

Some Frequently Asked Questions

What size are you? I am currently a US 18/1X/XL, but sizes vary dependent on fabric and cut. I’ve squeezed these curves into 16’s an 14’s before!    

What is your natural hair regiment? At this stage, I stick to flat twist and braid-outs or protective hairstyles. My favorite is the marley bun.

Where do you shop? I do a good deal of shopping at thrift stores. I’m also addicted to the “vintage” category on EBay, ASOS, and Forever 21+. Lane Bryant is also wonderful, and so are a lot of independent plus size designers.  

Who is your favorite cosmetic brand and why? I don’t have a favorite in particular - I experiment with cosmetics so much, it’s hard to choose! I usually beeline to NYX and Wet N'Wild when I’m on a budget, and opt for Clinique and Dior when I want to splurge a bit.
